Elenco di tutti i domini di primo livello nazionali<\/em><\/strong> – Ogni sito web possiede un indirizzo Internet. L\u2019estensione di questo indirizzo si chiama TLD, ovvero dominio di primo livello. I\u00a0domini di primo livello nazionali<\/strong>\u00a0si riferiscono ad un paese ben specifico, come per esempio .it\u00a0<\/em>\u00e8 l\u2019estensione per i domini italiani.<\/p>\n

L\u2019ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers)\u00a0regola la concessione di base di tutti i ccTLD. La gestione e la registrazione dei domini di un paese \u00e8 invece nelle mani del NIC (Network Information Center, detto anche Registry); in Italia la competenza \u00e8 Registro.it (o semplicemente NIC.it).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Caratteristiche dei ccTLD<\/h2>\n

Le estensioni di dominio nazionali rimandano di regola alla\u00a0regione\u00a0<\/strong>o al\u00a0territorio linguistico<\/strong>\u00a0e sono composti sempre da due lettere dell\u2019alfabeto latino.<\/p>\n

Solo i\u00a0domini di primo livello nazionali internazionalizzati<\/strong>, internationalized country code top-level domain (IDN o NDI<\/strong>), di alcuni paesi rappresentano un\u2019eccezione: ad esempio sono i diversi ccTLD dello Sri Lanka: oltre all\u2019estensione nazionale\u00a0.lk\u00a0<\/em>ci sono anche i TLD\u00a0\u0dbd\u0d82\u0d9a\u0dcf<\/em>\u00a0e\u00a0.<\/em>\u0b87\u0bb2\u0b99\u0bcd\u0b95\u0bc8<\/em>, che indicano il nome dell\u2019isola in lingua cingalese e tamilica.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Usare ccTLD per altri scopi<\/h2>\n

Al contrario dei ccTLD, i\u00a0top level domain generici (gTLD)\u00a0non indicano alcuna appartenenza regionale, ma si riferiscono a un tema specifico, come .com\u00a0<\/em>che si usa per siti commerciali\/d\u2019affari oppure .org<\/em>\u00a0che indica un\u2019organizzazione, e possono avere pi\u00f9 di due lettere. Ma alcuni ccTLD vengono\u00a0usati per scopi diversi<\/strong>. Alcuni esempi:<\/p>\n

  • Tivu.tv: sono molti i siti web che utilizzano\u00a0il dominio di Tuvalu .tv<\/em><\/strong>. La ragione \u00e8 che il dominio si presta bene a indicare quei siti che offrono servizi di streaming o che riguardano la programmazione televisiva.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Meet.me: letteralmente significa \u201cIncontrami\u201d ed \u00e8 uno dei\u00a0domini del Montenegro<\/strong>\u00a0pi\u00f9 cari che siano stati mai venduti (circa 450.000 dollari). Meet.me \u00e8 il nome di un social network statunitense, che ha potuto collocare completamente il suo nome del marchio nel dominio grazie al ccTLD del Montenegro.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Un\u00a0caso particolare<\/strong>\u00a0tra le estensioni di dominio nazionali \u00e8 rappresentata dal dominio .tk<\/em>. Oltre 30 milioni di siti web usano questo ccTLD, sebbene lo stato insulare Tokelau, al quale questa estensione \u00e8 assegnata, non abbia pi\u00f9 di 2 milioni di abitanti. La registrazione in massa di siti web .tk<\/em>\u00a0\u00e8 motivata soprattutto dalla circostanza che in passato si poteva registrare in maniera completamente gratuita un indirizzo Internet con questo ccTLD. Anche ora i primi 12 mesi dopo l\u2019iscrizione sono completamente gratuiti.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

      Di seguito sono elencate tutte le estensioni di dominio nazionali. La tabella non mostra solo a quali\u00a0paesi o territori<\/strong>\u00a0appartengono i rispettivi domini, ma anche se il ccTLD dispone del\u00a0DNSSEC (Domain Name System Security Extensions).<\/p>\n

      Nell\u2019ultima colonna scoprite se si possa assegnare\u00a0un indirizzo web internazionalizzato<\/strong>\u00a0ad un dominio registrato con il rispettivo ccTLD. I\u00a0nomi di dominio internazionalizzati\u00a0possono essere composti, oltre che dai caratteri latini, anche da lettere di altri alfabeti, come dieresi o segni diacritici nel dominio di secondo livello (quindi nel nome del sito web prima del dominio di primo livello nazionale). Un esempio potrebbe essere un ipotetico sito web tedesco\u00a0m\u00fcller-b\u00fcrom\u00f6bel.de<\/em>, che contiene diverse dieresi nel nome di dominio.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
